Overshoot to a High Wedge

Показать описание
This drill helps gymnasts learn the overshoot in a much safer, more calm environment (as compared to going between the bars).
Releasing from the high bar teaches the gymnast to control themselves in the air, and prepares them to "catch" with a modified landing.
Start with the landing mats close, and move backward as confidence grows.

About Kokokahi Gymnastics:
"KGT is Hawaii's oldest private gymnastics school, founded in 1969. Originally, classes were part of the Kokokahi YWCA, however due to increased enrollment and a commitment to the sport of gymnastics, the KGT Association was formed by parents in 1971.
KGT became incorporated in 1978 as a non-profit organization. In 1983, KGT moved to its present facility to expand its programs.
Today we offer a wide range of classes including recreational classes for boys and girls ages 12 months and up, tumbling, back handspring, and just added a movement class for kids with special needs.
Kokokahi's competitive teams compete in JO Levels 3-10 and Xcel Silver - Xcel Diamond."
