Ugh the chocolate and strawberries winds me up so much! It's so basic and the crowds for it drive me insane - especially when I'm hangry and need lunch hahaha

if you go to a donut stall first thing in the morning, the old stock that didn’t sell the day before or maybe 2 days ago gets put out first and often an offering to warm them up will be likely

9 quid for chocolate and strawberries? Jesus

Early morning is NO excuse for stale goods from previous day. In most developed countries, there are health codes against this, but you CAN sell them at half price IF you label them as previous day

Pastry counter at Harrods it's a pretty safe bet, not cheap ( last time that I was there was like £ 8.50) but always daily made, my favourite the raspberry tart, pile high with fresh raspberries, crumbly pastry and yummy vanilla scented cream base, fantastic. On the ground floor, next to the coffee counter.

The korean milk donuts are good only on wednesdays in the afternoon. When i was in London they tasted good only at that particular day and time.

I don’t know if I counts as a dessert but I went to the market in London once (it was around Christmas so that might have had an impact) but there was a stall selling these, what I’m gonna call giant teacakes. It was a small biscuity thing with a tall marshmallow dome, tall so more oval than circle, and covered in chocolate. You could get them it different flavours (strawberry, pistachio, caramel… etc) but they were SO GOOD and I’ve not seen them in the 5 years since!

With all the other London tourist traps, I'm surprised you didn't also review the candied nuts from the vendors on/beside the bridges

Crème Brûlée is SUPPOSED to have a bitter taste! Ffs!

The Internet is giving British youths quasi-American accents and it’s making me uncomfortable.

in London, for the same price of one small cup of chocolate strawberries in Borough Market, you can go to Tesco and buy a pack of Taste-the-difference strawberries and a good quality Belgian chocolate and make this at home, and feed four people for half the price... it is ridiculous how overpriced and overhyped these strawberries are... every time I go to Borough Market I just look at the queues and think to myself what these people are thinking!

Never go to bakery as they open you'll eat yesterday's food

"It's too expensive" yeah, you are basically describing the whole of London.

Wow..first time hearing a true report on food places 👍🏻 thank you. The amount of times we’ve watched food vloggers and they’ve highly rated a food to try and we’ve been disappointed when we got to try it and scratching our heads, huh is this what they called a must try 🤔😳

Try buns from home - they do a lovely mixed berry cheesecake bun - the best I’ve had.

Check out the calamansi bilog from mamasons. They also have other flavours such as charcoal (tasted pretty good) and ube flavour. On a hot summers day, the calamansi is the way to go.
Also, check out the halo-halo from lutong pinoy in earls court, and from karaoke and kin, you wanna check out the cheese filled ube pandesal and the ube tsunami cheesecake, the banana jackfruit and toffee turon

I'm so glad someone said that about the strawberries.. I just moved to london and I CANNOT understand the massive lines. Preferred Humble Crumble's vibe.. but honestly would rather bake my own stuff to save money😂😭
