Porsche Cabin Air / Pollen Filter Replacement - 991, 981, 718

Your 991, 981, and 718 Porsche's all have the same two cabin filters. Porsche calls them "pollen filters." There's one in the front luggage area near the battery, and another under the glove box. This video tells you all you need to know for changing your filters.

Just changed my two filters, and I found that a nickel fits a bit better than a quarter did.

Helpful and I don't know about the rest of you, but I reinstalled the three plastic screws below the glove box, finger tight not using a quarter, screw driver or other tool. Hope it makes it easier 2 years from now to do it all over again. It also helps to push up on the foam cover when removing those screws to take some of the pressure off them.

Very helpful. One small piece of advice, lay a towel or small blanket on floor under the glove box. Floor mats are not soft. I have coco mats and after getting one plastic screw out, my arm looks like I was rubbing it with a cheese grater. Some kind of tool would be great. On to the engine filters now…

Thanks. Nice to see it's such an easy job. Just did the first oil change on my GT4 and it was also a breeze except that the oil level wouldn't show until, the next morning. Was kind of longing for a dipstick :)
