I have a classic low tapered cathedral in Plat. However, I also love the diamond bridge on the cathedral, as well 🥰 For me, the full diamond basket takes away from the beauty of the center diamond, and your diamonds are curated so well and so beautiful. My round bezel 2.42 ct has plain cathedral sides. It is 9 years old and looks the same as when it was purchased. No issues! Plus it protects the stone. My five year upgrade was a green emerald set in a diamond halo with a pave band. Lost a stone in the first two weeks, barely wear it because Im scared of hurting my emerald or losing a diamond again. We just purchased my future upgrade for our 10 th anniversary. 8 ct Emerald cut solitaire with a full bezel. Trellis style with cathedral type sides as well. Im sure it also will protect the stone for years to come.
