R.I.P. Ray Clemence, Emlyn Hughes, Tommy Smith, Ray Kennedy and Bob Paisley. Can't believe it was 45 years ago, seems like yesterday.

The last and most historic appearance for Kevin Keegan with Liverpool was one of the players most admired by my late father

Great that they’ve cleaned this footage up, my old vhs is failing now, I still remember the contexts of this game, BMG were a great team full of stars, Kneib was unbeatable on a one on one and he was massive, to this day I still scream ‘square it to KK’ for the first goal 🤣 I thought there was no way McDermott cud beat the goalie from there, still love seeing that ball nestle into the corner of the net

For a club to win the UCL in era where their no medals, shows how huge of history the club has. YNWA 🔴

This was the era when the team and the manager had respect from fans and beyond. Now, we have a bunch of virtue signalling muppets who can't seem to stop telling me how I should live my life and what views I should hold.

As a 6 year old boy my hero was Kevin Keegan; he was all in the news and on tv ... a real modern superstar of the day. What we thought was the end was on the beginning of decades of greatness with Kenny and then Rushie. Keep this great content coming to remind our youth of our history of heros and nights of greatness.

I remember watching this game, I was 15, and Liverpool fan from the early 70's. That was a great team.
