When i was a kid i had the acvance SP and the OG DS and being able to use the same cable for both was so useful

My sp charger saved my childhood lmao also back lights. Still have a kink in my neck from the GBC and my moms old lamp 😂

Blew my mind when I learned you could use the exact same power cords from the GameCube on the Wii and WiiU. Not sure if the SNES and NES are the same cables too, but I’ve had friends who’ve said they do. Can someone fact check that? Lol

Another thing is that a dsi, 3ds, 2ds, and even a new 3ds use the same exact chargers and ports and I gave a friend a replacement 3ds charger for their 2ds once when their old charger stopped working. I've tested this myself as my friend has a 2ds, my brother has a new 3ds, and I have a 3ds along with a dsi.

I never would've known this either. I only ever had a DS Lite and an original GBA.

Obviously if you have a next gen console/handheld you will try have the same power cable port. Weird is only that Nintendo likes to change it every single time (probably the Apple approach to sell you ultra expensive chargers, every single time... Would also explain why the New 3DS XL came without a charger).
