love the fact that this mashup it's actually fairly balanced. you can hear the 3 bosses' music and not only a ridicously and unfair amount of Megalovania taking advantage.

if you think about it, sans is the secret boss of Undertale, because the ONLY way to fight him is to follow a very specific route, and seems to know more about the world at large than anyone else in the underground, just as Jevil and Spamton seem to know more about the dark worlds than anyone else, and they all seem to mention being "stuck" or unable to return, whatever that means SANS

You know, Sans actually belongs in the same category as these guys. He's technically a secret boss, you can only fight him if you do a very particular set of actions that are hinted at near the end of the game. He's far and away the most difficult encounter in the whole game. He possesses knowledge of the world that he shouldn't, and it has taken a toll on his mental state. But rather than become psychotic like Spamton and Jevil, he became lazy and apathetic. And the source of this knowledge is likely the same. I'm not going to say Gaster just yet as I have my own theory about him. He fits right in.

I love this mashup, it doesn't focus too much on certain themes and all the leitmotifs are all there, also love certain leitmotifs in different soundfonts/styles!

(Jevil's projectiles will split upon hitting the edge of the box this turn)

I love the way Spamton and Jevil's parts join in with the drums at the beggining. It has a "something's going down" vibe to it

the tiny fragment of heartache is actually smart, not just because sans is *indirectly* related to toriel, but also it was supposedly originally jevil's fight theme

I feel like if it went directly from the white flashes of Jevil to Spamton to Sans from their final attacks it'd be really smooth

All of these characters have the same problem. They’re stuck in some way.
Sans is stuck in the same timeline, no matter what, he ends up in the same place because of the player resetting.
Jevil is stuck in his “little freedom” by himself with no one to play with.
And Spamton is stuck with strings above him. Never in control. Wanting to be free but is always stuck at the bottom.
