I grew up on an 800 acre farm in Oklahoma. We raised horses and cattle. Mostly built fence, baled and hauled hay and cut and split wood when we weren't working cattle . It's a lot dirtier and sweatier than yellowstone.

The Mexican cowboys that I know:
Are working constantly repairing, fencing, rounding up, feeding and medically inspecting the livestock.
They don't have gunfights, they do carry Bowie knives sometimes, they are in constant back pain. They eat ok, as long as the Patron/ Owner/Ranchero decides to kill some beef, chicken, lamb, or pigs to have a party. Everyone loves that.
They usually have bad teeth, and are quiet most of the time, cause they're all about the work.
They don't get into a lot of fights but the ones that happen, send people to the hospital.
They have shotguns, and a Winchester lever rifle at the bunk house, but that is only used occasionally. If they have a handgun, I've never seen 'em pull it out to "gunfight at OK Corral".
They like cerveza, and different liquors. They are dedicated hard working men, working to send money back to their families. Its a hard life.

I got in trouble by my wife for laughing at the show...I was raised on 1000 acres in Oklahoma on a horse and cattle ranch. My papa was a cowboy..I still try to be one lol

When you sling your deer rifle on your back you're supposed to point the barrel down. It makes it easier to carry, faster to draw up and safer to carry loaded
