Why are people shocked at cricket. Its played by 60 associate nations and 12 permanent teams around the globe. I.e ireland, england, pakistan, south africa, zimbabwe, india, srilanka, australia, newzealand, australia, west indies etc and its a big sport in all of those countries. Thats covers 5 continents around the globe. There are also teams that are emerging and making more frequent appearances in international like scotland, netherlands, uae etc. Yes it is very big in indian subcontinent but its still very popular in all the other test playing countries. Infact australia is the most successful team in the history of cricket, newzealand and australia are the only countries with test mace, england is the current champions in t20 and odi worldcup. West indies won a world cup before that defeating england, pakistan won the champions trophy, south africa of last decade is considered the best team in the history of cricket on account of individual players, srilanka won the asia cup defeating both india and pakistan. So i dunno why tf these baseball reta3ds are saying that its only because india has large population. While they play sport that only their country has monopoly over and nobody gives a fcuk about it besides maybe japan.
