Step 1: duplicate a lane twice
Step 2: group the two duplicates and pan one hard left and one hard right
Step 3 : take the original lane slap +3db of gain on it and invert the phase
Step 4: hit play and realize that just duplicating lane just increases the volume
Step 5 : change for example the pitch of one of the grouped lanes by a few cents
Step 6: turn off the original lane and be left with a sound that actually has more stereowidth or just turn the original up by 3db.... which ever u wanted to achieve by duplicating
