Best known perhaps for his "Big Bad John," Jimmy Dean's career spanned several decades. Here is his interpretation of the Stuart Hamblen classic, This Old House, complete with a recitation. Jimmy relates Hamblen's story of how this song was written. From Jimmy Dean's 1976 LP which featured his notable classic, "I. O. U."

Jimmy Dean was a great entertainer. He moved from Texas to Virginia. His best friends in country music were The Statler Brothers.
