Okay, so I wanna say something real quick: first off, I feel like I'm in a kinda unique position as far as this video is concerned. I released my own Porter mashup almost 2 years ago (a few months after this one), and it started blowing up about a year ago. That blow-up, as I discovered, was significantly due in part to this video. Mine is gonna be hitting a million views in about a week at the current rate, and out of those million, just over 100, 000 came directly from being recommended to it from here. So... thank you, first of all. You didn't know it, but you have helped me out so much in the last year.


That being said, I never found the time to check this whole video until now. And wow... this is phenomenal. You did such a brilliant job mashing up the songs together. I really, truly love this. Props to you on creating this wonderful mashup. :)

Im going to be honest… I forgot this song existed until I got it recommended for some random reason. Ive been through a lot of stuff since these last 4 years. I forgot how good this mashup was. Brings back so much good memories and feels VERY nostalgic. This isn't typically my genre of music now, but this song will always be in my heart ❤️

This song means so much to me. It's on my Life Anthem playlist, which is a sacred playlist I've dedicated to songs that either 1. I just absolutely love, especially if I played it nonstop for months on end, or if I always find it to be a banger. I sometimes eventually remove those songs if they've lost their shine. Or 2. Songs that are so deeply personal to me, to my life, my experiences, or words I needed to hear. This song has been on this playlist for at least 2 years now.

I don't particularly comment much on anything in general, but I legitimately cannot get through the first few seconds of this without feeling an immense wave of depressive nostalgia, due to the pure fact these times have grown so distant and won't be coming back as they once were. I truly wish I could sit through and enjoy pieces of music like this, but goodness, it just pains my heart so. There will come a point where these things won't inflict such harm, furthermore harrow, and rather, a fond recollection, bliss, and reminiscence, that of which will dawn such tremendous comfort and joy, that the distance and dissipation of the past will be incapable of assimilating within the heart and mind, whatsoever.

man listening to this i'm just remembering my life three years ago when this song was on my daily playlist. its crazy how music especially this genre has such a lasting effect, the feelings and memories come back from the last time i listened to it, they were distant and in the past but hearing music from that era of my life makes me feel how i did back then for a brief moment, which is a bittersweet feeling because i've grown so much since then but that part of me still exists deep within me. this song feels like a movie, like an unreal feeling of happiness but also melancholy, like love that transforms you as a person. i don't miss who i was as a person then but i do miss the memories and warmth i experienced that i no longer am able to.
