You know what, I think Hrgovic purposefully did take a few shots and ignored any type of defense because he knew this guy couldn't touch him power-wise. Against a serious opponent, I'm sure he'll be more careful.

I mean this is exactly why he shouldn't have been fighting him. I know we all appreciate showreel knockouts, but it's concerning when it's a top 50 guy flatlining a rank 600 guy... If this was Hrgovic flatlining someone at his ranking level, then I'd be praising the Vitali Klitschko clone.

As a true fan of boxing I have to say this match up was a disgrace. Dangerous for such an opponent who could be seriously damaged. Joyce and Dubois had warmup fights with the standard of fighter that should have been on offer here. And I don't for one minute think they can't find a better opponent for Hrgovic. If boxers are will in fight Joyce and Dubois then they are out there. As a little aside IMO Joyce would beat Hrgovic again and so would Dubois.

Interestingly hrgovics boxrec rank went down by 10 spots after this win. I always though if you won by KO no matter how bad the oponent you went up a little bit, but the newish algorithm plays by different rules i guess. I think its kinda dumb going down, butt, i think in this case he does deserve some punishment for fighting a fight that realy shouldent of being sanctioned.
