Rush at Thorpe Park, join us on this giant swing ride that reaches 75ft into the air at speeds of up to 50mph and experience the feeling of up to 4G’s as you swoop back towards the ground.

Rush is an S&S Power Screamin' Swing flat ride that opened on the 27 May 2005 and is currently located in the Lost City area of Thorpe Park. It opened alongside another S&S Power ride Slammer which has since closed.

Rush is a popular, thrilling, adrenaline-pumping ride at Thorpe Park, that features a giant pendulum that swings back and forth at high speeds, while simultaneously spinning in a circular motion. Riders are seated in open-air gondolas that hang from the pendulum, and Rush reaches a maximum height of 75 feet. Rush has a maximum speed of 50mph and is capable of generating forces of up to 4G, making Rush one of the most intense flat rides in the park. Rush has been a mainstay of Thorpe Park since it was introduced in 2005, and is a favorite among Thorpe Park thrill-seekers who are looking for a heart-pumping experience.

Guests must be at least 1.3 meters to ride Rush.
