I miss BlackBerry so much. I want to cry. I hate the cellphone market - its so stagnant. Apple ruined tech for actual tech savvy people - the iPhone is a curse on creatives -

I miss the Blackberry operating system than the Apple version, the Blackberry OS was much more Flexible and the filing system was more efficient than most other platforms

For anyone in the UK, I was able to buy a Classic locked to Vodafone off of eBay. At time of writing Vodafone are still able to issue an unlock code so that I could put my giffgaff SIM in it. The phone still works nicely for SMS and calls if you're looking to get off your smartphone

The Blackberry Classic was the only Blackberry I ever owned, and it turned out to be my favorite phone of all time. I wish they would release a new model but sadly we know it will not happen.

At this point I'd have kept all the plastic on it. Brand new Classic in 2024? Crazy.

i still think that it was waste to lose blackberry. they could’ve been one of the best industry that could’ve compete with apple and samsung. i mean they could’ve still produce those kind of smartphones with physical keyboard, it would be an appealing to maintain this thing nowadays, it’d made the phone unique into their design.

I have BB Z10&30. I still have them. The system is light and easy to use. It is unfortunate that it is out of service. I still miss the store and applications 2013-2019. 😢

Instead of buying BB phones people should look into BB stocks that are at 20 year lows and many hedge funds seem to be getting in. I feel there is an accumulation going on because their price to sales ratio is just at 2.07 now. Which is extremely cheap. The reason the stocks dipped so low is because BB decided to raise 194million in cash to pay for maturing notes with fresh notes at 3% interest. BB seems to be big into Software Defined Vehicles with their Blackberry IVY, Blackberry Sound and QNX software and Hypervisor. AWS seems to be a major partner on the QNX. At 1.67billion market cap it is only a matter of time before someone buys them outright.

1:30 To bypass Blackberry Protect, just flash your phone with the wrong autorun (from another model other than yours) to brick it, once the device only has a flashing red light and does not respond, flash it with the autorun indicated for your device, it is a really risky method but one that I did successfully on my Blackberry Classic even with the Blackberry servers running, I hope it helps you

Man, I wish I had access to 2G or 3G here in the US. I hate the modern smartphone landscape, and all the well made dumbphones were released before VoLTE was mandatory. While not a dumbphone, I was hoping I could at least use an old Blackberry as a more focused sort of device, but it seems that isn't an option either. I know the Unihertz phones exist, but those are much cheaper and less classy in build and design compared to the old Blackberries. It's a real shame.

I still think the blackberry handset can capture the low budget market in terms of OS its outdated but as a handset i would still use it as a second phone
