looks so much fun!!! My husband and I just got back from Barcelona and a 7 day cruise to France and Italy. Thank so much for the restaurant recommendations... we are now playing next years trip for a 7 day cruise thru Greece.

At first a form of self defense but now it's practiced as a dance and cultural expression. The portuguese people back in the colonial times didn't want the slaves to rebel (obviously), so the slaves had to pretend they were just dancing.
Oh, it can be a lot more acrobatic than that.

My Portuguese professor said Brazil's culture is black. That's their main culture.
I will be a missionary in Africa and Brazil, so I guess I'll get cultured that way. :)
