This is not a Power Supply design, ,but you can use it as a power supply also it will not charge if it detect current problems like if you have a dead battery usually i use a good battery in parallel with the one i want to charge for a mint this way dewalt will charge both after one mint i disconnect the good battery you will notice the continuity of the charging status . Very few battery chargers in the market offer high output Amps 70A and up with affordable price 199$ and down, But my favorite is from Associated Equipment Model ESS6011 and it is not cheap.the best on the market, that's my opinion
