Alicia Keys joins Michelle Obama to speak about why she’s so passionate about her new film, The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete, an often-heartbreaking coming-of-age story of two inner-city boys.

Sporting a beautiful fedora, Keys joined first lady Michelle Obama at the White House to personally screen her passion project. The film was a co-sign from First Lady Michelle Obama, helping to promote and make a greater connection between the film and the need for educators who go above and beyond their curriculum.
