I can confirm cool mauves, cool rosewoods or some neutrals with a hint of soft berry plums are the perfect MLBB for me (as a soft deep winter/dark cool summer very close to Hathaway colour palette).

Yep! I knew I was a winter when brown liner and nudes looked insane on me. Berries and mauves forever. NYX Mauve liner is my go to!

As someone who has cool undertone’s and saw someone make a brown lip mud that had cool undertones I’m really excited because they said it wasn’t their intention to make it like that but they may keep it and I’m in love.

ugh THANK YOU!!!! this is what i needed to hear for years i have been trying to find my perfect nude but they always wash me out. i naturally have a bright ish pink mauve color on my lips when blood is flushing thru them and when i apply a tan nude i just look horrid. i found an LA girl lip liner that i use as my toned down nudes but always felt guilty that it isn’t a “nude” and actually a colored lippie.

Mac syrup and sweetie and L’Oréal age perfect in beautiful rosewood work well for me as a winter if that helps anyone

As a bright spring, I have the same difficulty with nude lipsticks. The best nude I've found for me is MAC See Sheer. I'd be interested to hear other recommendations from other bright springs.

Aa someone who's a dark autumn this is so true for me. I need some contrast, if the nude is too light I look like a corpse

I'm a Bright Winter so even the berries like Black Honey are really bad and dark on me. Quite a bright (but sheer) magenta is the best "my lip but better" on me (Winters need MLBB instead of "nude"!)
