I can't help but laugh at how many projects Disney's been able to take on at WDW all while they still have NOT put adequate effort into fixing Journey into Imagination nor any of the other EPCOT rides that are literally falling apart (looking at you Spaceship Earth and The Seas). About time Figment gets well-deserved respect from management. Apart from that, nice job with covering all the mayhem unfolding before our eyes!

We are driving down a day early for our vacation to come to a taping! Me and two of my daughters are so excited!! My middle daughter has quite literally grown up watching this program. Your theme song is the song that used to help her calm down when she had a fit and she would do the cute sitting baby bobbing dance too to it. This will be very special. Looking forward to it!

I wish there was still a way to save Rivers of America during and after the Beyond Big Thunder Mountain project. The original Disneyland had a lot of kinetics with multiple levels of motion, like the monorail and sky ride flying over the submarines. It would be great to tunnel under the river for the main Cars ride!

Looks like magic kingdom will be the new Wallcot for the next few years

Iam upset the river is going away, its a classic and I think it adds a lot to the New Orleans plaza as well. Cars land could be placed over in the what was Disney Hollywood Studios, which is where the other Pixar stuff is and is more appropriate in that area!

You keep saying that you are old! I wouldn’t say that I’ll bet I’ve been going to Disney since before you were born. I started going to Disney and stayed at Fort Wilderness from 1976 and can relate to every change you mention. You’re only as old as you think you are!! Stay young at mind and heart.

We have a trip planned to the parks in early February. My son really loved the Boneyard last time and I hope it’s still open for him.

I like the Country Bears, but ROA and TSI contribute so much more to the area by their mere serene and picturesque presence. Country Bears is but a hole in the wall by comparison. I would somehow manage to survive if it disappeared. If you want to up play the role of increased traffic from a faded, IP franchise that doesn't fit the area AT ALL, why not replace Main Street USA while you're at it. It's just a bunch of stores selling stuff you can get elsewhere at WDW. You could put in roller coasters and spin rides. That wouldn't ruin the classic feel of the park, would it?

Modern Disney is not interested in expanding even though Walt himself said they had the blessing of size. They destroy and replace. I’m all for updates but they really need to expand. Disneyland has something like 49 rides vs magic kingdoms 24 rides.

january is becoming the month of rides closing to be changed; splash mountain closed in january 2023 and country bear jamboree closed january of this year. now big thunder mountain railroad is closing next january

Closing down attractions creates higher wait times and the illusion of higher demand thus increasing fast pass prices. This is all about money. Nobody buys a fast pass for the riverboat or Tom sawyers island. By the time CARS opens it’ll sell fast passes for 50 bucks a pop. A M.K. Ticket will be 200 by then. A bottle of water is 10 bucks and last I checked WDW isn’t running low on bottled water. Wake up people! Stop giving Bobby your money he’s going to take it and run away laughing!!

Damn I'm going to miss Big Thunder by a week. I'm going on January 12th through 18th. I missed it once before. Not sure what y ear but they replaced some of the track that goes out over the water. I went in 2006, 2009, 2016 and 2017. So not sure what trip it was. It's one of my favorite attractions so it's a bit of a bummer.

Why not cut away half of Tom Sawyer’s Island (the northern end) like they did at Disneyland and remove one-half of the Rivers of America. Even if they kept one-third of the river it provides some form of serenity and relaxation. There’s still plenty of room for a Carsland attraction and a Villians Lair accessible past the Haunted Mansion and into Fantasyland if possible. It would be nice to see a more articulate artist’s rendering of new development and building placement (WITH A PORTION OF THE RIVER REMAINING).
