You forgot to mention that the XS and the Roku 3 both have a wired connection option.

I bought the Roku 2 XD but didn't realize that it didn't have a wired Ethernet connection. So, I had to buy a wireless router. In the long run, it's a cleaner connection without the additional wire, but still the Roku 2 XD was a little misleading.

That "old school" hookup is known as "analog". 5GHZ is nice but it doesn't have the penetration that 2.4ghz has. If it's the only device your running and your only a wall away from the dual band router (I have the Asus RT66AC), it's performance is good. But when the kids fire up the Xbox one in the basement, it seems to get some interference even though I'm using them on 2 different SSID's and channels. I have a Roku 3, 1 wall away from the router. If I take it to the basement, on 5ghz, it's not so good. Put it on 2.4ghz and it's fine. I have 2 Roku's XS and a 2 XD's and one LT. Oh, and one amazon stick (sucks).

The reason people want to see this video and was not answered is the difference between 3 and XS except the silly headphone thing. the roku 3 costs 50% more

Poor review. Roku 3 wifi remote XS bluetooth XD IR remote. I can go on and on.

Xs and roku 3 have ethernet ports. Im done now.
