Damn it! I don’t have any good femlash Recs at the moment. BUT if you want some good CANON femlash go to WEBTOON and check the comic “Mage and Demon Queen”, is a story set in a RPG where everyone is determined to beat alll the monster bosses in the demon tower and defeat the final boss the terrifying demon queen. That’s also what our protagonist (a young mage girl) wants, although not because of the rewards or glory, she just wants to marry the demon queen. Is the cutest thing and very funny.

Also while you are there check Lore Olympus, it’s so good.

This is a fic from the Maleficent fandom called "Secrets Revealed" by Useless Tiny Gay1698 (yes, that is their real username), on Fanfiction.net; word count 7K+. It takes place post-canon, in a setting where Aroura is now Queen and is feeling the pressure to find a suitable suitor from her advisers, but she's never found out what Maleficent did to break the curse. At least, that is until Prince Phillip sheds some light on the situation. If you couldn't tell, this fic is Maleficent x Aroura fic.

First fic that comes to mind is a Ginny/Luna fic
Tittle is "What she can't see"
The fic is established relationsip, but Luna believes Ginny doesn't love her, and the whole plot resolves around the invisible wrackspurs, that are the same colour if two people are in love. It includes Ginny and Hermoine being friends and some magic injenuity, but it's one chapther so not much.

Because of the one fic I'm kind of wanting to rec being a hiatus fic, and I always feel bad reccing a fic that isn't finished, I'm just going to go ahead and rec a whole fandom, which is my primary femslash fandom: W.I.T.C.H. (Maybe this is just a desperate attempt from me to get people to write more W.I.T.C.H. fic.) I've always been a comic over cartoon girl when it came to W.I.T.C.H. (though the cartoon is *fine*), and it was one of my first fandoms. And it's also one of the first fandoms where I had a femslash ship (that being said, I have many femslash ships in that fandom. All of them, in fact). My favourite ship being Cornelia Hale and Irma Lair. Later development in the comics hinted at an *almost* canon level of attraction between them, but I shipped them long before that (what a shipping hipster I sound like). But hey, I'm always here for people going from "We don't like each other at all and get along out of necessity" to slowly growing to love each other and do anything for each other. But again, since all of the W.I.T.C.H. girls have very strong relationships with each other (and very different relationships with each other) it lends itself to SO MANY SHIPPING COMBOS. (Other favourites include: Will/Cornelia, Will/Taranee, Cornelia/Elyon... etc). Since it's not a particularly active fandom (fanfic wise, there's quite a lot of art still being made), it's difficult to find good (or completed...) fanfic for them. I can definitely recommend to go out there and look for it though. (And also I can 100% recommend to go check out the comics, most of the arcs are very good, and it has a lot of great shipping material.)

Dragons'a Princess is really tempting me to drop everything and catch up on Once Upon A Time. I thought I had enough but who knows now!

My rec today is...not something a lot of people are going to recognize or care for but I unironically love.

This fic is for the canon couple of Gebra/Maizey from the Hotdoga fandom. For those that don't know the Hotdoga is (critically acclaimed) series of short episodes written and voiced by Shane Madej (commissioned by Ryan Steven Bergara). It could be called a subset of the Buzzfeed Unsolved fandom as the Hotdoga started as some funny little animations at the end of their weekly Q&A called the Post Mortem. Thr Hotdoga is a series filled with wacky adventures through time and space: starring beloved characters such as: Mike Soup, Dr. Goondis, Maizey, Pam the hotdog witch, and the beloved of them all Gene who is French fries.

Now that that's out of the way my rec is Four (and a half) Times Maizey Woke Up In Bed Alone + One Time She Didn't by redgoth on AO3.
This short 5+1 fic works through the events in the series as well as going on to make its own happy ending. It also deal with the lives of Gebra and Maizey and how they were real for them even if they were just witch holograms to everyone else, which is something you don't see a lot of in canon or the fandom. At just 1731 words, this fic is short, sweet and just a little sad.

I'm so desperate for more femslash MHA content (I mean, I'm 100% a multishipper when it comes to MHA, and my favourite ship is Erasermight, but the girls need a lot more love in this fandom, because there are so many good ship possibilities) so I'll definitely be checking that out. And a few of the others.

It's interesting, because for some reason I tend to gravitate more towards canon content for femslash (which is unfortunately rare) rather than fics. I have no idea why. But I'm all here for more ficrecs because I want to read more. So I'd be all for another femslash themed week at some point.

I'm agreeing with everyone in the comments who has suggested Fic Rec Friday themes such as Soulmate AU, Rare Pairs, Historical AU, Crossover fics, Anime, etc., etc. I honestly can't imagine a theme I wouldn't support :) And of course, MORE FEMSLASH! Knowing that this vid was waiting for me after work definitely helped me get through my Friday slump.
