This is the newest trackless ride at Disneyland Tokyo and it's inside of Fantasyland. The queue to get on this ride backs up all the way to the front of the park! We paid for Premiere Access to avoid the wait.

my dad, who is usually very stoic, got married around the time the Beauty and the Beast movie first released. i took him to Tokyo Disneyland when he visited Tokyo last year, and it was a very rainy day. my mom, my dad, my younger sister and I waited for two and a half hours to get on the ride. both my parents cried during the ballroom scene. it was the first time i'd seen my dad cry in many years. this ride is the best.

Wow the animatronics is amazing. Belle’s movements are so smooth! Japan is really on another level when it comes to technology. The whole disney experience here in tokyo disneyland is really worth the money.

My husband and I got married the same year Beauty and the Beast was released, that is the fairy tale movie which has been following us during our lives. It's also the best description of how love happens, all children should watch it. The ride moved me to tears, I hope to one day enjoy it with my husband. Thanks for posting this amazing video.

Once upon a time, a young prince lived in a shining castle in a farway land.
The prince could do whatever he wanted, so he had become completely selfish and lost his kindness.
One night, An old woman came to the castle and asked to stay the night, offering a rose.
He tried to turn the old woman away sneered at her haggard appearance.
She warned him not to decieved by appearances, for beauty is found within. But he didn't listen.
Then, the old woman's ugliness malted away to reveal a beautiful enchantress.
He tried to apologize to her, but it was too late.
As punishment, she transformed him into a hideout beast and placed a powerful spell on the castle.
Ashamed of his monstrous form, the Beast concealed himself inside his castle.
The rose offered by the enchantress were truly beautiful one.
If he could learn to love another and earn her love in return by the time last petal fell, then, the spell would be broken. If not, he would be doomed to remain a beast for all time.
As the years passed, the prince lost all hope.
Who on earth would love the beast?

If Walt and his original team of imagineers could see this they would probably cry tears of joy. Every single effect is executed perfectly. The best animatronics, an excellent use of a trackless vehicle, the music. This is easily going to be considered the top Disney ride for at least the next 10 years.

Beyond Amazing!! The animatronics have reached a zenith!! But the kicker was the end ballroom scene where the 'audience' actually gets to participate, spinning around the Prince and Belle!! Truly One-Of-A-Kind!

It was the best ride in Tokyo Disneyland. I loved that our bowls were swinging along with the music. We waited 3 hours for it!

Having recently understood projectors and lighting on skrim and lighting changes I now get how they do that beast transformation and if more parks would understand this shockingly basic tactic effects could be on levels that are unreal.
