Toyota Celica ST162 [HD] 2018 Update

I thought it was high time for a video update on my car, which incidentally is still a daily driver. There's been several additions... most notably:
- the front grille and surrounding pieces professionally sprayed and baked in black
- Hella twin tone air horns
- wheels now black powdercoated (I didn't want the lips of the rims to get the treatment, but they kind of had to, long story)
- front half of the interior (very recently) redone in black & red marine vinyl (rear section to be done later in the year)
- carpets swapped for plush black
- stock headlights swapped for Raybrig's (and LED globes)
- taillights full CREE LED converted
- indicators (front and rear) and taillights all polished and coated in 3M PPF
- custom black Japanese (katakana) decals on the bonnet (more custom decals for the front and rear windscreens, ordered at the time this video was uploaded)
- Kelford 262° cams
- hi-flow catalytic converter
- ACIS inlet manifold painted red (no, it's not a red-top BEAMS! :P)
- rocker cover and exhaust heatshield painted black
- TRD 7mm ignition leads
- custom red/black ACIS decal/plaque replacement
- custom horn button decal
- TWM short shifter
- Flossy weighted gear knob with custom CELICA engraving
- Plasti-dipped centre console and instrument cluster surround
- fibreglass sunroof replacement (no more rust)
- Dynamat under-hood insulation

Good to see the car developing.Liking the Raybrigs, and the gloss black along the front edges look smart, I may have to steal that, thought the 'smokey grey' look on my UK car still looks quite fresh.Interior looks really nicely done, nice detailing, great looking 4th Gen.I've concentrated after restoration, a fairly highly modified performance path with my own car.Coilovers, full custom stainless system bespoke built for the car, (luckily no cat required for UK regs on a 1987 model!), ,Redtop BEAMS from a 98 6th Gen JDM car lurking under the hood with a twin cold feed intake and Blitz filter, , Fidanza lightened flywheel, and S54 06D LSD gearbox makes for a really good fast street car knocking on the door of 200bhp.Later Gen brake conversion and some Whiteline ARB bits and bobs.Super respect for your work as a daily car fella, liking your work

This was my favourite car. My favourite body kit too except I prefer the stock rear spoiler. The only thing I didn't like about this design was that weird underbite the panels either side of the front grill have. It looked like panel misalignment. I think that was addressed in the final revision around 1988.

nice celica, what coilovers do you have? Im trying to find some for mine but can't really find any do you think coilovers from a similar year corolla or camry would bolt up?

What's going on! That things still looking as good as it did at the MCM track day.
I now know I need the gt bumper on mine, followed by a fresh coat of paint. Liking the gloss black on the trims.
