In your fiddle book, you might want include a section on double stops using the inverted third (a sixth below) using this technique enable you to play the melody and Harmoney at the same time. To practice this use scales to automatically add the sixth. Some scales are easier than others. A G scale with the root note third finger D string and the sixth on the G string second finger B note. The scale will end on the E String second finger g note A string first finger B note. This technique was developed by Buddy Schicker. You are doing a great service with your online lessons.
