The Greater Malayan Confederation or Maphilindo (for Malaya, the Philippines, and Indonesia), was a proposed non-political confederation or union of three Southeast Asian countries in the Malay Archipelago.

Malaysia:
Malaysia is a country in Southeast Asia. The federal constitutional monarchy consists of thirteen states and three federal territories, separated by the South China Sea into two regions, Peninsular Malaysia and Borneo's East Malaysia. Peninsular Malaysia shares a land and maritime border with Thailand and maritime borders with Singapore, Vietnam, and Indonesia. With a population of over 32 million, Malaysia is the world's 43rd-most populous country. The southernmost point of continental Eurasia is in Tanjung Piai. In the tropics, Malaysia is one of 17 megadiverse countries, home to a number of endemic species.

Philippines:
The Philippines officially the Republic of the Philippines is an archipelagic country in Southeast Asia. It is situated in the western Pacific Ocean, and consists of about 7,640 islands, that are broadly categorized under three main geographical divisions from north to south: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The Philippines is bounded by the South China Sea to the west, the Philippine Sea to the east, and the Celebes Sea to the southwest, and shares maritime borders with Taiwan to the north, Japan to the northeast, Palau to the east and southeast, Indonesia to the south, Malaysia and Brunei to the southwest, Vietnam to the west, and China to the northwest. The Philippines covers an area of 300,000 km2 (120,000 square miles) and, as of 2020, had a population of around 109 million people, making it the world's twelfth-most populous country. The Philippines is a multinational state, with diverse ethnicities and cultures throughout its islands. Manila is the nation's capital, while the largest city is Quezon City, both lying within the urban area of Metro Manila.

Indonesia:
Indonesia officially the Republic of Indonesia is a country in Southeast Asia and Oceania between the Indian and Pacific oceans. It consists of over seventeen thousand islands, including Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, and parts of Borneo and New Guinea. Indonesia is the world's largest island country and the 14th-largest country by area, at 1,904,569 square kilometers (735,358 square miles). With about 270 million people, Indonesia is the world's fourth-most populous country and the most populous Muslim-majority country. Java, the world's most populous island, is home to more than half of the country's population.
Indonesia is a presidential, constitutional republic with an elected legislature. It has 34 provinces, of which five have special status. The country's capital, Jakarta, is the world's second-most populous urban area. Indonesia shares land borders with Papua New Guinea, East Timor, and the eastern part of Malaysia, as well as a maritime border with Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines, Australia, Palau, and India (Andaman and Nicobar Islands). Despite its large population and densely populated regions, Indonesia has vast areas of wilderness that support one of the world's highest levels of biodiversity.

I love Indonesia because they have many culture. I love Bali and the Nusa tenggara islands. Lombok, labuan bajo, lake toba, bromo mountain, Jogjakarta etc❤️. Maybe there are many places that i haven't had time to visit, i want when i go back there everything is fine Because i want to explore Indonesia further, about culture, biodiversity, regional languages ​​and others. The food are really nice, and sure i like. Indonesia is like my second home because the people is so well.. I think in southeast asia have a many beautiful places, but in Indonesia it's enough. And i think i will come to Indonesia again after covid. After i lived there for half a year, i feel happy so happy

Okay so as a Malaysian Chinese I think I would have to say something that people might not know about my country :)
1. Malaysia is made up of Malays, Chinese and Indians alike. We have other races like Iban, Kadazan and sorts at the Borneo (East Malaysia)
2. Singapore is actually from Malaysia, but they broke off to a new country...A lot of Malaysians on the south part (which is where I was living btw) will work at Singapore while living in Malaysia (Singapore dollars is 3x Ringgit Malaysia value) and Singaporeans will simply spend their money here so it's cheaper...I actually got lots of relatives at Singapore, we went to there for trips frequently <3

Yeah amazingly different races live in Malaysia peacefully. Also hi to Indonesia and Philippines!!
