Got the Rear of the 1973 Triumph TR6 Chassis Stripped down tonight....one more session and we should be down to the bare frame on the 73. We will put it up for comparison against the 76 frame when we are done.

Excellent video and great progress. I like the fact that the chassis appears to be original and not messed around with. Kind regards, Richard.

Looks like someone’s had there weetabix, never seen any bent like that before. Great job guys

I wonder how those brackets could get bent without other serious damage to the rest of the suspension.

Tush, at the start of the video, Les was trying to teach you an important lesson about leadership - a leaders job is to do everything he/she can to facilitate and support the safety and success of the team (Les). If that is pre- staging the correct tools, then the leader needs to do that. :-) ;-)

Short and sweet, but some good progress. Will you replace the chassis areas where the trailing arms attach, or get that farmed out for repair?

Nice progress guys. I like this frame better so far. Not sure how you could bend the trailing arm bracket that way - pothole?

Trying to re-enact Triumph of the seventies? Worker(s) are telling management what to do? Will Les go on strike?

What, no Union break?  Best get the Shop Steward to report Les to the Works Council.  Lesser events than this would have had the boys at Speke near Merseyside, where Les hails from, out on the picket line and the TR7 production lines halted.

Purchase a Ratco frame for the 73, the better old frame into the 76. Now you have two TR6’s, sell the 76 to pay for the new frame. A rover 3.5 for the 73 since you will need a second motor.
