Hi my son has a Hayes radio advent calendar when he starts to assembles he can't get power thought the breadbroad I've looked too should I solder wire ends for better connection.

Hi, Graham, I would have enjoyed that kit when i was younger, Quite well thought out.
I always grin when I think or the resistor colour code, At college we were told a little verse to help remember it, i will never forget it, but there is little chance of me saying it out load to anyone I don't know!, Cheers, J.
