Owane Love Juice Bass

Owane blows me away - his playing is incredible, and his compositions sound totally unique and take my ears through a tonal labyrinth. When I heard Love Juice I thought - wow, he's a killer bassist too! I was totally caught off-guard by the super funky fusion bass solo @ 2:25 and I was beyond impressed with it. I thought I could learn the bass part, but it was deceptively difficult to play. He has crafted a bass line that I believe a bassist would not conceive of. It is very novel and contains fretboard permutations that are alien to me. Learning it was very stimulating. The bass solo is so wonderful and face-melting along with the rest of the song. Owane is one of my favourite artists today.
