I am so thrilled for him....and REALLY happy he brought Mark into the mix as well. They both deserve it.

"Has written for Doctor Who" He's the showrunner, the guy making the decisions. Not some writing job second to sherlock.

I love how shy and totally out of place he looks … it shows he's a normal person, unused to win and very serious about it

I don't know who he was up against when he was nominated for A Scandal in Belgravia but I still think that that episode should have won.

Probably should've thanked Martin and Ben too. I like how they said "has written for the revised version" of Doctor Who. This man controls the psychological and emotional welfare of both fandoms, don't let him fool you.

Moffat "has written for" Doctor Who? Talk about an understatement!

Wonderful win, and I loved his excellent demeanor.  Shame that he couldn't bring his wife and Mark Gatiss up on stage as well, given that they're equally behind the creation of "Sherlock, " but for a one-person win, it's somewhat frowned upon to delay things by bringing more people up with you. Also it's a tad insulting-- you're bringing friends and family up as ornamentation; they can't chime in.
