I really love this scene in the musical. The song is basically a simple workers' anthem with a comic beginning, but it develops into something far more comprehensive and expansive. I don't know if the point is to say all points of view belong to people who are fundamentally in solidarity with each other as simple humans - cops, miners, ballet girls, Mrs. Wilkinson, and Billy. Well, at least I've learned how to say "f*cking sh*t" in Dutch. (Sounds curiously similar to the English...)

Deze musical is in Nederland een groot financieel fiasco gebleken helaas. Zwaar verlies op gemaakt schijnt het.
