Arumba, there was no UI bug, you were pointing your mouse at the wrong button. The up arrow INCREASES the number of assigned workers. You were aiming at the down arrow, which DECREASES the number of assigned workers.

From what I read during the development he did EVERYTHING on his own from the engine to the artwork to the models, all of it.  That's just insane how much talent he has from a creative and technical aspect as well as the hours it took to make this thing. I hope it does extremely well.  I'm a big supporter of indie developers..

Awesome starting seed map. Got yourself a min-manhatten or constantinople. Great fishing spots too.
Great suggestion about adding the Idle indicator for citizens. The game is technically still in Beta so he could quickly add that in.

I know Banished is over a year old now but I've been mesmerized by this series and to think it was made by one person is astounding. Definitely a must buy down the road for me.

This game is like 10% of what dwarf fortress is. Also dwarf fortress is made by one guy. Toady's brother just composed the music. And the game is released since 2006, its just being constantly updated, it will never be done... it will just grow bigger.

One minor complaint though; Food is your #1 priority, houses are not necessary until winter hits.

Looks nice! Though why did you click the blackened-out down-arrow all the time when you wanted to increase the number of people who should become builders? When you finally clicked higher, it worked perfectly fine. Somehow you seemed to think that clicking down would assign more people.

UI scale probably mean 1:75 and 1:150 so 1:150 is smaller

if the creator reads this let me just say you are by far one of the most talented people ive seen in a while that does not count youtubers idk why I just get sucked into youtubers epic videos.  they just have so much confidence when they work and its wonderful.
