Boeing Wins $5.2 Billion Missile Defense Contract

The Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) System is the only defense program able to protect the entire U.S. against long-range ballistic missiles. Under the contract, Boeing will be responsible for engineering, integrating, and testing the system. They will ensure readiness if the U.S. has to defend against an intercontinental missile.
