World's First AWD B-Series El Camino Body Swap: Turbo Installed, Body worked, & Motor Pulled!

Показать описание

In this episode of my AWD Honda-powered El Camino build, we make significant progress on both the turbo setup and the bodywork. I start by fitting the intercooler piping and finalizing the turbo kit. From there, I dive into body prep, laying down guide coat, blocking it for a perfectly straight finish, and tackling the tailgate fitment. Custom bumper brackets come next, followed by stripping the paint off the tailgate and doing more bodywork. After another round of priming, I take a quick break to show off my new Brunt Workwear boots before getting back to prepping and removing the Honda B-Series motor. Once the engine is out, I clean up the motor and engine bay before wrapping up with some final thoughts.

Honestly it sucks that the various factors of YT have caused us to think hes working slow on this. A body swap at this stage in around half a year is impressive. Homie is busting his ass for us to watch for free and we expect him to work faster.

Seen loads of body swaps, you are by far the best... methodical, precise, and functional. No doubt this will look factory when you're finished, your work is amazing

Coming together crazy fast! Especially for a car that's never been made before. The cool thing about buying a car with a large number of missing items is when you get all the new parts on with the fresh paint, it's going to look nuts!!

My Uncle was more of a big block guy, but he would have respected this build for sure.

Looking great! I like when you provide details of ‘how’ you do things. I have painted cars and realize the amount of work it takes. You are killing it! This has to be my favourite build so far, not because I particularly like the CRV or El Camino, just because the uniqueness of it and I can apply some methods you are using to my own projects.
