I know yall are in a cold climate but carpet holds and collects allergens over time. They get stained esp with little kids and a house that big. When they sneak off and get into stuff. I put ceramic tile all thru my house with plush rugs and ruggables in high traffic areas. Ruggables you can clean in your washing machine. I would put the office downstairs along with a playroom so when you go upstairs at night you leave the mess and work behind. Also have you thought about a screened porch in the back yardbwith maybe a gas fireplace for cool nights where the kids can playwithout going outside after bathes. You can use glass windows as well. Then you can put plants out there, maybe a couple cool swinging egg chairs or hammocks...very boho to give it a hawaii feel. You should look into a canopy bed for sunny. When i was little i had one that was white with pink ruffle bedspread. I felt like a princess. If its a queen size her cousins can sleep over. Hang cute little twinkle lights. I am an interior designer. I just lovevto decorate. My colors are turquoise with grey and creams. Very beachy. You can take any picture your phone or other places from your travels and have them blown up on canvas. I hunt fb marketplace, thrift stores, consignments shops etc for cool pieces then paint them or repurpose them. So fun. Your almost moved in. I know your ready just make sure any dust created projects are done bc it sucks cleaning all your stuff everyday. I'm excited for yall and to see how you decorate it. Take a deep breathe and enjoy it.

House is looking fabulous. Miss Sunny is getting more beautiful by the day. She is getting to that cuddle stage where all you want to do is cuddle with that adorable baby!
I have moved 54 times in my life. What I have found is that you do it in stages. First: get your clothes closet totally done before you start moving furniture. Second: kitchen. Get it together again before the furniture move. After that your choice. Try to complete areas so your not tripping over boxes and items. Get a family member to break down boxes as you open them. Then those can go out to recycling and that is done! Just a few things I have learned over the years.

The bangs are great! Derik is right not everyone can wear bangs! I wanted to mention something to you guys. You know how children are about playing in the water, please remember that if you're using a water hose that the hose has been laying in the sun for a long time. When the water is turned on it can be up to 80-100 degrees. Please don't let Jack get squirted with it until you check to see how hot the water is and let it run till it's cool enough. I love all you guys so be careful, have fun and most of all be safe!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
