I have a set of shears.
I have used them dozens of times to open packages, and once to actually cut clothes on a patient. Nice to have when needed, but they don't get much use.

Never saw the point in carrying a multitool until doing an IFT with a patient on a ventilator. RT was great but their connector locked up on the rig so the quick connect was just *open* on our main oxygen lines. A multitool probably wouldn't have fixed it, but it makes me feel better.
