Dubai Maritime City is one of the many construction projects of Dubai that was affected by the 2009 financial crisis. What expected to be a fully operational maritime zone by 2012 remains to be finished after a decade. While it seem to have been trapped in time, it inadvertently becomes a quiet haven with a calming scenery; nestled in the busy Bur Dubai and Port Rashid area of the ever growing Dubai Metropolitan.
