I’m sorry that happened!! Yeah, the best thing to do when you hear gunshots is to go to the nearest adult (that looks safe) and call the cops! You can explain to the cops saying you didn’t notice the sign but someone started shooting a gun (your not sure what the direction of the bullets were going) but you called for safety! Glad your okay!! Praise the Lord!!

This story reminds me of the ALMOST SCARIEST times of my life. So basically my friend invited me to go to the state fair with her but I couldn't go because I was going to the movies. One day after that day my mom had told me that their was a shooting at the fair. I started crying so hard thinking something bad had happened to my bestfriend. (luckily she was ok) anyway at school my friends and I were talking about it with her and she told us that their family heard screaming and her mom said "(my bffs name and her sis)Run" so my bff and her mom ran while her sister and dad were away from them. As my bff and her mom were running they heard more gunshots and someone behind them yell "HE'S BEHIND US" so her mom told her to run faster. They finally found the rest of their family in the parking lot where her dad told them that (my bffs sister) was laughing while running thinking it was a game. I was so grateful that my friend was OK. My mom said she was so glad I didn't go to the fair that day.
