Some beautiful timber framing . Unfortunetly, we do not have spruce or Doug Fir in Louisiana . Those woods particularly make truly strong beautiful timerframe structures . However, we do have Red and White Oak, which is what we use along with Locust, Hornbeam, Tupelo, Persimmon, and we use osage for our Pins . It takes a bit more work to timberframe with these hardwoods, but once its done it makes a Tremendously strong frame . Then we clad it in Red Cypress and Bull Pine . The old structures we have still standing are 250-350 years old . They Last a Very longtime .

On the curved pieces, are they cut, bent, or manufactured curved. I’m bewildered, please do a video on how to size fit and or cut/bend.
