What do you think about Gareth Edward I’ve seen him floating around to direct the next Thor film, I think he would be great the avengers cause his specialty is big scale action like in Godzilla and rouge one that would be perfect for the big battles in those movies

I think Coogler is a great pick mainly for his tones, themes, and villains. I mean, Killmonger and Namor are amongst the best villains in the MCU to date.

Now, it could be said that it’s due to their conflicted moralities which would pair better with someone like Thanos and not so much Kang, but if Secret Wars does end up going the Doom route, I think you’d want Coogler at the helm. Especially if Wakanda is heavily involved with that.

Sam Raimi is my first pick for secret Wars 🙏 I think you'd be really perfect for this cuz of his horror-comedy and tone of his superhero if not him then my other option would be Alfonso Cuaron who is really a great director and my personal favourite of his movie would be Harry Potter 3 is still one of my favorite franchise and also gravity also would be my second cuz it was so really good honest I think will be really interesting choice for him to Secret Wars either way I'm down for both each 👍

I would go with Sam Raimi out of everyone so far. He is a veteran and has been with Marvel since the early 2000s. He has multiversal experience but I am not 100% sold on anyone. Jon Watts would be good but he wants a break which is why he left the Fantastic Four film. I would also like Ryan Coogler but I would save him for the X-Men.

Destin Daniel Cretton will do great with the Kang Dynasty since Shang-Chi amazing. People need to accept that the Russos will not return for Secret Wars, and that’s fine. So my choices for Secret Wars would be either Peyton Reed or Shawn Levy, both would do great. Sam Raimi may be good but with his tone and style I think he’s much better for Doctor Strange, and I really hope he returns for 3.
