We begin this video lecture by defining HK and proving that if H is a subgroup of G, then HH=H. We use this to prove that H is a normal subgroup of G iff the product of any two left cosets of H in G is again a left coset of H in G. This gives us yet another equivalent definition of a normal subgroup.
