One of the funniest things is offering a "pro" controller incompatible with a PC. I agree with everything you said. This is a fantastic controller that enhances the gameplay of a casual PS5 sweat. You know, the guy who's downing a 6 pack after work but hates to lose.

I give all gamers who use 4 paddles much props. I tried it on my ps4 with a scuff and I ended up only using 2 because I ended up getting confused and pressing wrong things way more often than I would've liked.
That controller having 8???? That's just overkill.

I do love my dualsense edge, but then again I am a very casual gamer

Yo bro ima keep it a buck mouse click triggers isnt as good as u think u might accidentally shoot when you dont mean to and mouse click face buttons is just a money grab other pro controllers offer 4 paddles but there usually $250-$300 the dual sense edge controller is good and u cant say its bad because of ur opinion especially the influence u have over the controller community. Bruh its like one of the cheapest actually good pro Controllers, the cable lock is for pc and kinda usefull, also Why u hating on the replacable Stick modules, sure there are alternatives but that aint a reason to hate on it, also your personal prefference isnt a reason to say that it sucks

For a long time I always used my DualShock 4 as my main controller. I did this because not only I had no Xbox controllers (So much for that, Eleri!), but PlayStation controllers have gyro. So aiming is much better that way than just using analog stick. And looking at the Steam Deck, the DualSense Edge is closest we’ll get to a Steam Controller 2 for now. Until Valve actually gives us that.

Tbh edge is the best option for ps5 as unlike third party controllers, it has more integrated PlayStation features like the extensive dead zone and profile customisation. The only one on par is scuff reflex pro but even that is more expensive and has no trigger stops. Even if you do get the scuff reflex fps, you will be stuck to hair triggers and no haptic feedback, for a mind boggling price. Despite it not being perfect, the Dualsense edge is the best pro controller for ps5 and pc, with all things considered.

Swapping out the joy sticks if stick drift happens is the only reason I got this controller.

2:00 this is widely known as fact not speculation. With the release of the PS3 the first two iterations of the DualShock 3 controller came using a technology known as Magnetoresistive whetstone bridge which is more similar to TMR than Hall effect. But due to a massive blow to sales of controllers (caused by people’s controllers lasting forever) they swapped back to alps potentiometers and never went back. They make their pots to be rated for 2 million rotations but an avid CoD or Fortnite player will hit those numbers as early as 4 months (though usually around the 6-8 month mark) and that’s JUST the drift caused by end of life of that pot. Usually if it gets dirty it will wear out faster. The three major gaming companies underwent huge class action lawsuits for those potentiometers.
