I really feel for his 3 children the most. When we're kids, we think 50 is old. In reality, at 50 you can have another life in front of you that's decades long. I'm 57 and I know. It's so sad.

That was my idol, it’s my dream to play drums and be as big as him.

Aw man I know Taylor Hawkins was so stoked in that photo with Jimmy Page- like most of us woulda been. He came across like such a lovely guy- he seemed like a gentle soul who really dug the fans. It’s such a shame to lose any musician at any age. I just recently got back into listening to the Foo Fighters again. Dave Grohl and the other bandmates must be devastated. Taylor and Dave were very close and Taylor was with Dave during a lot of interviews. This is so heartbreaking for us the fans that I can only imagine the pain his family, friends and band mates are feeling. I do hope that Dave can continue with the FF. I know they all need time to heal, but music is one of the greatest healers. RIP Taylor, you will be missed. ❤️
