Getting involved via virtual adoption and online donations for now. Hope to be able to volunteer at the centres soon. Orangutans are such intelligent and majestic animals, and it is our responsibility, as the ones who causes their lives to be endangered, to do what's right and keep them safe. I cry so much for these babies. Knowing humans who have no family, yet they can make friends, call someone, but these innocent babies look so sad. They need momma's milk, arms, kisses and guidance.
They are so wonderful how they learn from these beautiful loving humans to become self sufficient and live in the wild.
What is wrong with people disrupting the lives of not only these babies, but many animals. This is there nature.

What they don't show you on these videos is that many of the orphans that are released into the "wild" still depend on food from the organization and end up having to be recaptured due to the fact they simply cannot survive or because they are to friendly with humans and end up in a populated area. The other thing these videos don't mention is there isn't enough rain forest left for all these orphans to live in. Whats the point of saving them if there is nowhere to go? The real problem of deforestation should be the focus of these organizations but this type of program is what gets westerners to donate money so this is what organizations like this one focus on. This will not save the species, if there is no rain forest there is no wild orangutans more resources need to be put to the real problem.
