Using 2048 sticks and paper to find π | Buffon's needle visualization

Buffon's needle is a nice probability problem and π approximation. You could surly try it with matches or needles IRL. If I got 2 more sticks land on the lines in the demo, I could 4 decimals correct!

So cool! I remember a puzzle asking to describe the probability of such sticks crossing the gaps if thrown at random. Interesting how it comes out as π at the right length ratio
