Groceries are a top spending category for almost everyone, and with rising inflation, groceries are getting increasingly expensive. Because every dollar counts, saving as much money as possible is super important, and credit card rewards can help get you money back with your everyday grocery spending. In this video, we’re going to cover the credit cards that get you the BEST rewards back on your grocery spending.

I made a poll asking you for the BEST credit card for grocery spending, and the response I got from all of you absolutely blew me away. There was such great information and ideas in the comments section, and I learned so much from your strategies that I decided to compile all of that information from that post into this one video.

And I call this video the ULTIMATE guide because this video covers all the major players as well as some of the lesser-known cards that are all absolutely fantastic for grocery spending. Of course, I can’t cover every card out there that has a grocery multiplier, but I did my best to mention the ones that I know will help you lower your grocery bill in a BIG way.

So sit back, relax, and enjoy this broad guide to the BEST credit cards out there with the highest grocery multipliers! I hope that this guide helps to save you money with your grocery spending!

Wow, I think you covered damn near every grocery card out there! I was using the Verizon Visa for groceries until I got the Freedom Flex / Amex Gold. You really can't go wrong with any of the cards in this video depending on where you shop for groceries. Nice work Stan!

I've actually recently mostly changed from the CFU to the CSP for grocery spending due to using Kroger Pay with the CSP as the payment method which causes the transaction to go thru as 'online grocery' rather than regular grocery so I can get the 3x back and it works. I actually learned it from a Chad's Money Minutes video. Great video btw Stan!

We all need to spend money on groceries so might as well get as much value back as we can!

One of the most consistent bills that almost EVERYONE buys on a weekly basis; might as well get some money back for something you’re already needing to spend money on! Great breakdown! 👏

I'll take my Amex Gold all day long right now... however, there are plenty of awesome no-annual fee options that can effectively give you pretty close to the same value, and the Gold card is not one I'd recommend for everyone. This was a really well-organized video Stan! Great work!

I use my Hilton Surpass as my grocery card. Of course I'm Hilton loyalist so the 6x back works for my set up. Great video

Great content Stan. The Amex BCP definitely fits my use case. We have the Hulu/ESPN/Disney package and this card provides a $7 a month / $84 years credit plus the 6% on streaming so all in that more than covers the annual fee by itself plus throw in the grocery multiplier of 6% up to $6k / $360 and the 3% on gas this card is a winner for me specifically.

Loved this breakdown! There are plenty of options out there to suit most needs!

I just helped my girlfriend her first card, the Capital One SavorOne! Should come in the mail next week. The rewards categories made sense and I’ve got Chase and Amex now - it’s nice to have all three major players now in our household!

We’re gonna hoard those points and next year try for the VX!

Meanwhile, I’ll work on Chase and Amex!

Great breakdown of the different cards that you can use for groceries. As a huge fan of the rotating category cards, I wanted to mention that I can generally get 5% back on groceries for more than just one quarter. Although there was an issue where I wasn’t getting 5% back at Whole Foods initially, Chase said that it should have been included as a 5% back category on the CFF under Amazon this quarter. We usually get 5% back at Walmart in the final quarter of the year so I shift most of my grocery shopping to Walmart that quarter. In the past Discover has had Target as one of the 5% back categories at least one quarter, though I haven’t seen it yet this year (Chase had it in the first quarter), but Discover now has digital wallets as a quarterly category, and you can use digital wallets at Target and at every grocery store that I shop at, so that’s another quarter when I can get 5% back on groceries.

The CFU & CFF will have intro offers for 5x on groceries for your first 12 months on occasion. I have it currently on my CFU

Great video Stan, as usual!! I’m a beginner, I wonder for grocieries & gas if the citi custom cash is the better (now) than a sapphire preferred (in the future) when the ultimate goal is to stack points for traveling, or the equivalent of saving money for travel. What are your thoughts? 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Target has promotions that give $40 back for a $40 shopping trips for both the credit and debit cards when you signup. They currently are running one from 6/18-7/22

Using the savor one. It doesn’t earn points but the cash back can be converted to points. The venture series have poor cash back redemptions, not the savor one.
