I had a buddy that worked in the local hospital... hemostats, scissors, whatever. If it's made out of surgical stainless and used for surgery of some sort, I've got it. Thanks pal

Consider upgrading your curved hemostats to ones with carbide inserts. They slip less. Typically these will have gold toned handles.

Put heat shrink tubing over the tips on those forceps, adds extra grip and will help prevent marring if you need to hold something soft.

My mom used to work in a hospital when I was a child which means our first aid kits one were everywhere and two were amazing and everyone of them had 3 different sizes of those locking forceps and disposable scalpels and tweezers other then basic bandages they were the most used and replaced items must have items and super cheap also the best things to have when you have a splinter or something larger things in the skin very important in any shop that works with metal.

Forceps yeah we used to use them for roach clips. 👍🇺🇲☮🍺

I believe the technical term for that would be a roach clip sir.

I have quite a few pairs of forceps of varying length, angle, and jaw type. Lose a tiny screw inside a tight spot? Use forceps!

Buy some thin round magnets. Like 2/3mm thick and 6ish around. Tuck them in your knives. Always have magnets on hand and you'll never notice them.

I use the hemostat to hold the tail end of my ties so I don’t lose it. It works great for that.

Breakaway knives - When the blade is all gone, I wonder if it's easier just to get new knives versus new blades?

Those are called hemestats. Another more useful tool to have then your magnetic grabber would be a pair of trauma shears. They are a versital pair of multipurpose scissors with a flat plate on the bottom side to desperate materials and acts as a guide along the bottom of the cut in order to safely cut away anything attached to ones body without risk of cutting into the skin.

The proper name for your forceps is Spencer Wells

That telescoping magnetic thing is Def not “a screw extractor” it’s for picking up dropped bolts, screws, or small metallic pieces when dropped into the small unreachable spots in an engine bay while working on vehicles..

Get an olfa or nt cutter art knife. Infinitely better and more low profile than those awful plastic box cutters.
