Is the universe a true time mystery that has just been disenchanted? Join us for a groundbreaking study that claims our cosmic existence has not 13.8, but an incredible 27 billion years on the ticking clock. This revelation, accompanied by compelling evidence, forces us to rethink everything we have known about the universe. What does this exciting discovery mean for our understanding of space and time? And will the cornerstones of the Big Bang theory hold up under this scientific pressure? In this fascinating foray into the far reaches of astrophysics, we will not only reveal why the universe may actually be much older, but also reveal that some courageous thinkers guessed as much a century ago.

Thanks for the free epilepsy you gave me with the effects used in the cuts.

Cyclic Multiverse, seems like a good theory, Sir Roger Penrose gives some compelling ideas, but we might never truly know, there is so much more research to be done, and new questions will always come into being, as more data is collected, and new discoveries are made. Paul Dirac’s variable constants theory might well be right, and that would lead to a massive reshaping of Astrophysics and Cosmology. Always looking forward to more data and discoveries, however difficult and controversial, from the astonishing JWST.

I love how everyone says Einstein was wrong for using the cosmological constant and then everybody uses the cosmological constant hypocrisy knows no bounds

here it comes moving the big guess goalposts ... why can't they just admit they have no f'n clue how the universe works

Every week they have another number on how old the universe is! Let's just say its old as it is and move on!!

No matter the calculations, the age of the universe is unknowable. Whether it's a cyclic thing, a piece of a multiverse, or any other engineering, the expansion rate has changed, and the BigBang is a theory that's being challenged.

13.8 never made sense to me because there were fully-formed spiral galaxies by 13.4 or earlier.

We also know about some stars in globular clusters older than 13.8.

26.7 seems like a better number. But who knows how accurate it is?

When a better telescope comes out it’ll be even older

Is it just me? 13.8 billion light years is the radius. 27.6 billion would be the diameter. Am I missing something?

So to support an older universe you’re going to imagine things that I’ve never been observed?

And "the universe is 27 billion years old" is being said with absolute certainty as well.

Scientists need to stop putting an age on the UNIVERSE. It is Eternal, what we can see is just a small part of it.

The universe is a creation of human language - the word as it never had a beginning nor will it have an end!

And in a few years this will change again. Just maybe, there is no beginning and no end. There is only evolution and existence.

80.5 billion years on my calculations from the James Webb after triangulation in PI PHI and the fact that. There was a tell told signature from the pyramids around this universe which allows quauntum tunneling and entanglement. From the creator.

If the universe came from a single point . Then if you see pass 14 point billion, aren't you actually seen the other side of the universe?

Materialists think there must have been a beginning and there will be an end. I suspect the materialists are wrong and that there was no beginning to the universe and there will be no end. If we could suddenly transport out to these most distant galaxies, i'm confident that there would be just as many more going on forever. There is no end to matter and there is no end to space.

our thinking always assumed that everything has age including the Universe, this is our ignorance right there, what if the Universe is always here which means no beginning no ending,

Or they were formed exactly as they are. But don’t think too long about that.
