Came home to my flat one night in the late 80s or early 90s not sure half drunk half stoned feeling a bit sorry for myself, plonked down on the tatty old sofa turned on the tv and on came withnail and I.
It's seared in my memory forever..
By the end of the film I was physically drained from laughing so much the soundtrack amazing the acting and dialogue will in my eyes never be beaten ...I love it ....

I can remember watching the film for the first time with my mum on a rainy day down in Hastings back in 2002. Was pissing myself with laughter non-stop. This is definitely one of the few movies I can truly remember the entire script. I'd say it's my second favourite movie (12 Angry Men takes the top spot).
