To those who don't know, Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa are brothers who formed a Tag Team known as The Guerrillas of Destiny (G.O.D.) in NJPW during their time in Bullet Club, where they are record setting 7x IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions. Tama Tonga was one of the 4 founding members of Bullet Club, alongside OG leader Prince Devitt (Finn Bálor), Karl Anderson (Tama's trainer) and Bad Luck Fale (Tama's cousin), and Tanga Loa joined a few years down the road.

How the heck did WWE managed to keep the return of Tanga Loa to the company under wraps??

Fun Fact: Tanga Loa was in WWE a long time ago. He went under the name of… Camacho.

HHH got G.O.D. To join the bloodline. The Civil War continues to grow.

First, Tama Tonga, now Tanga Loa joining Solo. Not only that, but G.O.D has reunited in WWE. I’m actually loving this new Bloodline so far. But one of these days in the future, I would love to see them go at it with the OG Bloodline. That would be great. Civil War 2 is going down soon when Roman comes back.

Some important context for the international crowd watching: The sentence you hear the crowd yelling after a 2 count is "simplement deux" which means "simply two" or "only two". It's a catch phrase that's been coined by two French commentators for more than twenty years on French TV, those very two commentators that you see at the ringside table here. In fact if the French crowd is so passionate about WWE, it's in a very VERY big part thanks to those two guys, even if they don't wanna admit it. And the proof of their importance is that the whole arena knows this catchphrase... Philippe Chereau and Christophe Agius might in fact be the most influential "superstars" of WWE in France, and I'm not saying this lightly. Probably the majority of the crowd present tonight at Backlash fell in love with WWE thanks to the way these two guys always know how to convey and translate the stories to the French audience, and for the past 20+ years they've always been as loud and passionate on commentary as the crowd tonight. Add to that the fact that they also play characters while they comment the matches, Christophe is usually cheering the bad guys while Philippe cheers the good guys, and they have a whole lot of running gags and inside jokes that they've been throwing for as long as I can remember...
Actually when their table got destroyed tonight, you could hear the crowd singing "agius-chereau" in their honor.
I could write a whole essay about those two and their importance in the French WWE universe. That's probably why Cody shook their hands before entering the ring on last SmackDown, I think he knows.
